Ringer's Wedding

A ringer's wedding is always a special event and the ringers at St Laurence were delighted to be able to ring for Emma's wedding. Ringers normally dress for comfort but as Emma was kind enough to invite us all to the wedding and reception we had to dress the part.

From left to right the ringers were:

Mr Colin Bennett, Miss Elizabeth Bowers, Mrs Jane Chant, Mr Michael Davenport, Mrs Hilda Kent, Mr John Hoccom, Mrs Emma Mayneord, Mr Geoff Franklin, Miss Catherine Franklin

Despite our encouragement, Mrs Mayneord did not ring on that day.
