Julie KirkBride MP visits Alvechurch Bells Julie Kirkbride MP visited us on Easter Saturday to see how we were getting on and to return her Mini Eggs tube.
WDCRA Certificate for winning the Striking Competition The St Laurence team won the Call Changes section of the WDCRA Northern Branch Striking Competition on March 1st 2008.
Cadburys Mini Eggs We will be giving away free tubes of Cadbury's Mini Eggs in the weeks before Shrove Tuesday. The only catch is that we expect you to fill the empty tube with your loose coins during Lent and bring it back to us at Easter.
[The dragon at the Alvechurch Mummers Play] The Alvechurch Morris presented their traditional Mummers Play on January 1st 2008 and donated the collection to the St Laurence Bell Fund.
[Bellringers singing carols] The ringers went carol singing around the pubs of Alvechurch at Christmas 2007 and raised over £100 for the St Laurence Bell Fund.
[Elvis sings for the bells at Alvechurch] Elvis gave us an unforgettable evening's entertainment in September 2007.
[Bellringers climb Mt Kilimanjaro] Sian and Greg Hunt climbed Kilimanjaro in aid of the Bell Fund and Cancer Research UK.
[Stratford Marathon] Milton Bowers ran the Stratford Marathon for us.
[Visitor from the New Dilshad restaurant] Sponsorship by the New Dilshad Restaurant.
[Curry and Quiz night] The Curry and Quiz night in the Ark at St Laurence.
[Launching the thermometer] The Rector of St Laurence launching our funding thermometer as we reach our first milestone.
[The Gemini Choir] The Gemini Choir performing at our fund-raising concert.
